Districts
Otherwise known as local government areas (LGAs), districts are core to how you separate your properties and how you exchange information with VNSW.
List
The list page lets you:
- set and clear the year values requirement for supp processing for the relevant district (changes are applied immediately); and,
- edit existing items (Edit button)
Edit button
You can change the fields as described below.
Field | Action |
---|---|
Code | Don’t change this field. It’s not worth it. |
Name | Don’t change this field. It’s not worth it. |
State region | This is the region into which the LGA is grouped. It has no correspondence with the contractor regions to which you allocate your users; rather this is the geographical part of the state the LGA falls into. |
Active | Whether the LGA shows up in the list of LGAs you can have as a contract region's surrounding LGA. |
Annual values delivered | Set this date to record when you delivered your annual values. This is optional. |
Annual values applied | Set this date to record when your annual values have been applied. This is optional. |
Valuer | Fallback valuer for this LGA if there is no valuer associated with the component when supps are imported. |
Supp years to deliver | Tick the boxes for the years for which you're required to deliver supp values. This will impact the bulk edit value columns, the workflow editor value columns, and which years' values are included in the supp export file. |
The Zone table allows you to set the threshold for high value properties on a zone-by-zone basis. When you enter values into this table, properties in the corresponding zones with land values beyond the threshold and whose risk rating is less than 1-HIGHVALU will be noted in the Annual values audit. See Annual values audit / VAR.
It also allows you to tick zones where you've agreed to analyse all sales for this district. This will have an impact on which components show up in Comp: sale activity (310) in the Annual values audit.
