My imports are just sitting there, queued. Why is it taking so long?

After you click the Process button for your import, and then choose the files to be processed, some entries are put into the database, and these are what you see when you look at the Import history page. The main MVOW process then signals another program that should run continuously to look at the database entries that are marked as QUEUED, and start processing the associated files. The problem is that sometimes (although not in recent months) this program dies or gets stuck. If your imports sit there for more than a couple of minutes, I need to know about it, so please give me a call.
